Progress continues on Jon Yusoff's Tat-a-Long doily. This round has lots of lock joins (as do some of the following rounds. I am bothered by blips of color in my joins. I use
Jane Eborall's blipless join to avoid this. For lock joins, I usually pull up a loop for the join. I discovered that if I pull the loop Down, the blip of color in the lock join is less obvious. Who knew??
Very beautiful already!! :)
ReplyDeleteGood discovery!
ReplyDeleteCool!!! A couple of us made the same discovery independently, over a year back.
ReplyDeleteAnd if you follow the lock join with only the 2nd half stitch, instead of a complete ds, that blip reduces even further. Give it a try.
